ASTHASAN Tablets
( Herbal Antiasthmatic)

Description -
Asthma is characterised of Spasmodic attacks of breathlessness and coughing and a feeling of suffocation and tightness in the chest and throat. Asthma is a clinical Syndrome characterisied by paraoxysmal wheeze and breathlessness caused by increased resistance to the flow of air through narrow bronchi,a dn caused may be due to :-

• Sensitivity towards various allergens like pollents, mold spores, animal dander, and dust.
• Emotional tensions which may be precipitated by Pshycological Truama and Stress.
• Bacterial and Viral infection of respiratory track.

Asthasan tablet is a combination of demulcent, soothing and expectorant drugs which provides relief and prevent recurrent attacks of asthma.

Composition: Each 5 ml. Contains extracts of- Somlata (Ephedra gerardiana) 100mg Vasa patra (Adhatoda vasica) 40mg Trikatu 60mg Shudh Vatsanabha (Lagenandra toxicaria) 20mg Shudh Sohaga (Purified Sodium Borate) 20mg Shudh Dhatura Beej (Datura stramonium) 20mg Prawal Pishti (Corallium rubrum) 10mg Abhrak Bhasma 10mg Talispatra 20mg

Actions and uses:

• Somlata (E.gerardiana ) - Expectorant; helps expelling bad phlegm
  
  
• Vasa Patra (Adhotoda Vasica ) - Bronchodilatory and expectorant. Dialates small bronchioles of lungs and allows the bad cough to release out.
  
  
• Trikatu - It's a combination of Sounth, Kali Mirch and Pippali, which act as a powerful expectorant and prevents recurrent attack of asthma.
  
  
• Shudh Vatsanabha (Lagenandra toxicaria) - Insecticidal.
  
  
• Talispatra (Flacourtia jangomas) - Useful in bilious affections.
  
  
• Shudh Sohaga - Useful in all phlegmatic complaints arising from common catarrh to bronchitis and pneumonia even attended with discharges from nose and ears.
  
  
• Shudh Dhaturabeej (D.stramonium) - Expectorant and antispasmodic; helps expelling cough and reduces secretion of bronchial and lachrymal glands.
  
  
• Parwal Pisthi (Calcareous shell of Corallium rubrum) - Helpful in rhinitis, bronchitis, asthma and tuberculosis. Potentiates immune system.
  

Indications - Asthma, Chronic sinusitis and Rhinitis.

Dosage - Adult 2 to 4 tablets three times a day

Presentation - 100 tablets
