FEBROSAN-A Syrup
(A Safe and Effective Anti-malarial Syrup )
Description
-
Malaria is a tropical disease caused by Plasmodium
transferred through the bite of the mosquito Anopheles. The
main symptoms of malaria includes -
a) Shivering of body and high temperature followed by profuse
sweating is observed in a daily
periodic fashion.
b) Bodyache, backache, Severe Headache and lethargy.
c) Loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting in some cases.
Fabrosan-A
Syrup is combination of Ayurvedic herbs for the treatment
of Malaria. It also improves appetite and stimulates digestion.
Kali mirch, chirayta and Sagargoti and Giloy are renowed febrifuge
drugs combined together they not only act as useful antiperiodic
but bitters serve as a mild calagogue. Stomachic and Tonic.
This is perticularly important in the cases of malaria and
more so in the patients who are exposed to frequent attacks.

Actions
and uses:
- Chirayata
( S.chirata ), Sagargoti (C. bonducella), Tulsi (O.sanctum)
- These
drugs kill the material parasites and diminish their growth
in blood. They reduce toxicity and control fever.
- Red
Chandan (Pterocarpus santalinus) - Cooling
demulcent and febrifuge and antiperiodic. Reduces fever.
- Pipli
(Piper longum) - Digestive.
- Trayman
(Ficus heterophylla) - Useful
in improving digestion.
- Sounth
(Z. officinale) and Sagargoti (C.bonducella) -
Check
nausea and vomiting. Stimulate appetite and act as digestives.
- Kutki
(Picrorrhiza kurroa) - Destroys
toxins secreted by malarial protozoa. Stimulate liver cells
and improves its functioning.
- Giloy
(Tinospora cordifolia) - Act
as a febrifuge, reduces high temperature.
- Indrajav
(Wrightia tinctoria) - Improves
digestion and act as a tonic
- Hirda
(Terminalia chebula ) - Well
known rasayana drug, improves functioning of immune system.
- Nagarmotha
(Cyperus rotundus ) - Posses
analgesic and anti-pyretic activity. Reduces fever.
Indications
All types of malaria fever.
Dosage
Adult - 2 to 4 teaspoonful three times a day
and 20ml one
Hour before the anticipated time of high fever.
Children - 1 to 2 teaspoonful three times a day and 10ml,
one hour before the anticipated time of high fever.
